ABOUT OUR TEAM
Instructors Sani vanderSpek (Humanities) and Chris Millow (Environmental Science) represent half of the 11th grade team at HIGH TECH HIGH MEDIA ARTS, and are collaborating this semester on this exciting project.

Sani has taught humanities at HTHMA for two years and this in her fifth year teaching. She earned a BA from the University of California, Berkeley in Gender and Women's Studies and a MS in Economic and Social History from the University of Oxford. She holds a Single Subject Credential in Social Science and has taught art, English, political science, art history, and physical education classes.

Chris holds a BS in Wildlife Conservation & Entomology from the University of Delaware, a MS in Ecology from SDSU, and recently received his teaching credential through the HTH Graduate School of Education. This is his fourth year teaching at HTHMA. In the decade prior to joining HTHMA, he worked for The Audubon Society, Alaska Department of Fish & Game, NOAA, the EPA, Seattle Public Schools, The Trustees of Reservations, and sea turtle conservation NGOs in Guatemala and Uruguay.
